STYLING WHITE SNEAKERS

shorts with beige tailored blazer

Let me start by saying not all-white sneakers are created equal. There is only a hand full of classic white sneakers that can actually go with everything, and then there’s those that don’t.

When it actually comes to picking a classic pair of all-white sneakers, you have to take into account the leather, the tongue, the sole, and even the string. All of these details are extremely important when picking a pair of white sneakers that you would want to pair with dresses, skirts, sweat pants, and trousers, etc.

So let’s jump right into it!

1. Style with Trousers

Most of us have had those days where we want to look nice but still comfortable, and sometimes sandals aren’t an option because our toes aren’t in tip-top shape. So styling a classic pair of white sneakers with trousers can be very chic if you ask me. I’m not saying to wear any pair of white sneakers, but you get my drift. Some sneakers just have more of a sleek look to them and can go with pretty much anything.

Try pairing them with a pair of ankle pants as shown below or a pair of extra-long trousers. Honestly, the options are endless.

2. Style With Shorts

Pick a pair of your favorite shorts regardless of material, a nice blazer, and have yourself a chic outfit. If you’re into denim, grab your favorite pair along with white sneakers and a blazer, and again you have a chic outfit. Most of the time, pairing a blazer and some white sneakers can make getting dressed so simple since adding a blazer can take an outfit from regular to chic in seconds.

Don’t forget to shop on a budget and try thrifting some vintage blazers if you can.

3. Style with a Skirt

I just love when I can pop on a sleek pair of sneakers and a midi skirt and head out the door.

I’ve tried styling white sneakers with denim skirts, Tulle skirts, and midi skirts and I just love them all. Just keep in mind get that you can’t wear just any white sneaker, for example Air Force 1’s are a no go for me, I think they are a bit to clunky for my liking, plus being from NYC i’m so over those lol. Anyway pick up a pair a pair or two from the list I provided and get styling!

Now go slay!
