Styling Leather Jackets

Styling Leather Jackets

As Tall Woman myself it’s very hard for us to find jackets that fit us properly now and days, and as a person who loves leather jackets, I’m always on the hunt for a nice fitting one and those are hard to come by. My pro tip is to always keep a mental note of brands that make jackets that aren’t too short for my arms. This helps when it’s time to go shopping. Kenneth Cole is one of those brands that I think is extremely underrated when it comes to jackets, but I’ve always felt that they had great leather jackets. They don’t necessarily have a tall section but their jackets tend to fit us very well, and the styling options are endless.

When it comes to styling a leather jacket the options are endless since you can pretty much wear them it anything. Here a a few ways i’ve worn my leather jackers and what I would style them with.

Style With Denim Jeans

Adding a Moto Leather Jacket to a simple outfit with a white tee and a pair of jeans is not something that’s new, but it’s defiantly something that’s needed in every girl’s wardrobe. This type of outfit is something that can be worn out for a quick bite to eat with the girls or a trip to the market. It’s simple yet chic, and very fashionable so you can’t go wrong with this option. There are so many different styles of jeans to choose from but here are some of my favorites.

  • Skinny Jeans
  • Mom Jeans
  • Boyfriend Jeans
  • Straight Leg Jeans
  • Wide leg Jeans
  • Cigarette Jeans
  • Paper Bag Jeans

These are just few styles that are my go too’s, but again there are endless jean options you can pair with a classic leather jacket.

Moto Jackets

Style With A Skirt

People often think a leather jacket is too edgy for a skirt, but I’m here to tell you that it’s not. It does add a little edge but not to the point where you’re looking like a rocker. It adds just enough to show you put a little effort into your look that day. Also, keep in mind you don’t necessarily have to wear black leather either which may add a bit more edge, but if you want to soften it up opt for a blush color moto jacket those are super cute and feminine. With so many styles of skirts that are out there you can try this look with any one of them.

  • Pencil Skirts
  • Denim Skirts
  • Tulle skirts
  • Satin slip skirts
  • Pleaded skirts
  • Mini SKirts

And the list goes on! So jazz up your outfit with a classic leather any style and go slay!

Style With A Dress

When it comes to styling with a dress, I mean you pretty much can wear all types except wear leather with a prom dress lol, but then again you probably can now and days. A lot of fashion bloggers, ICONS, stylists, and even your everyday woman who just loves fashion can pull these types of looks off without blinking. It really depends on your level of edge in my opinion. Try styling with some of the below styles of dresses and get hit the runway!

  • Skater Dress
  • Bodycon
  • Floral Dress
  • Maxi Dress
  • Tulle Dress (Midi)
  • Slip Dress

With all these options always go with what works best for you. It’s ultimately up to your personal style in the end.
