Designer bags will forever be in style from high price to low price ranges, they will always be in, and people will always buy them.
With today’s economy at an all-time high, women are still shopping regardless of the price increases, but there are those women who want to scale back a bit but still enjoy luxury.
So, I came up with this list so you can still enjoy luxury without breaking the bank.
Each bag on this list is under $1000 and of excellent quality. The goal is not to purchase a bag under $1000 because of the price but to purchase something that’s still quality.
I’ll focus on five designers I recommend if you’re looking to update your current bag collection.
YSL
Cassandre Saint Laurent Matelasse Flap Pouch
At $ 725, Cassandre Matelasse Flap Pouch has a front flap with the YSL brass logo. It’s a wristlet, but if you remove the strap, you can wear it as a clutch in the evening.
Puffer Small Pouch In Quilted Lambskin
At $945, this Small Puffer Lambskin Pouch is a mini version of the YSL Lou Lou bag. The bottom line, it is a quality lambskin handbag for the price.
Envelope Flap Pouch
At $745, this small Envelope Pouch is similar to the Matelasse handbag except for the detailing on the front. With this additional detailing, I wouldn’t wear it in a formal setting, but you can wear it out with the girls.
Uptown Pouch
At $595, and Uptown Pouch the lowest in the price of the YSL collection, the Uptown Clutch packs a punch in style. Very sleek and can be worn for a midday brunch or date night with your other. It also has the YSL logo with a snap button as the closer. The only downfall I would have to say is that it’s flat, don’t pack too much inside and try to avoid it being bulky. Grab your small card holder, keys, a small mirror, and a few of your favorite makeup pieces, and you’re good to go.
JACQUEMUS
A new brand to the scene, Jacquemus has a decent collection of bags. Being more trendy than the rest, they may be in one season and out the next, but it doesn’t take away from it being a quality handbag for under $1000.
Le Bambino
At $625, the Le Bambino is a small handbag with an adjustable strap for those who love smaller bags with the option of wearing it in multiple ways.
Le Bambino Long
At $910, the Le Bambino Long is similar to the Le Bambino, just without a crossbody strap. The Bambino Long is for my ladies who want something more classic in style.
Le Grand Bambino
At $815, the Le Grand Bambino is my favorite. The larger version of the Le Bambino. I prefer this bag as it’s bigger and has an adjustable strap.
MANSUR GAVRIEL
Another designer new to the market, their Cloud Clutches are similar to the Bottega bags, but not an actual dup. Its lambskin in and out, and sets it apart from other handbags on the market.
Cloud Pouch
At $695, the Cloud Clutch is an excellent purchase for the price. Plus, it beats paying close to 3k on a handbag.
GUCCI
With luxury prices on the rise, Gucci is no different from any other brand on the market. Back in the day, they used to have two annual sales a year, but in 2016, it stopped, so the full price it is! They do have a few bags under the $1000 mark.
Ophidia Pouch
At $870, the Ophidia Pouch is super cute and a must-buy. It has the Gucci classic green and red stripes as well as its monogram logo, but it’s not overwhelming.
CHLOE
A brand that’s been around for years and underrated, Chloe is excellent and has amazing handbags. With their infamous Nile bag, Chloe still has a place in my heart.
Mini Alphabet Bag
At $990, the Mini Alphabet bag is a classic. I’ve never seen this bag but, to be honest, I need it in my collection. It’s a sleek finish similar to the Celine box bag, with minimal detail on the front. This bag can be worn only as a cross body or on one shoulder so you’re limited when it trying to wear it like a clutch.
Which bag will you add to your collection?
