Purchasing makeup isn’t always an easy task these days, especially with so many makeup brands on the market. So choosing a brand or two to stick with is something I think women should try to do. Now don’t get me wrong you can wear makeup from 20 different brands if you like, but to keep your skin in tip-top shape sticking to a couple will ease the pain if you encounter any skin irritation. You can easily pinpoint what’s causing your skin issue if you only have a couple of items brands to look at. It also helps with impulse buying every new item on the market which a lot of women do. Let’s be honest, between brand marketing whether it’s through social media, commercials, flyers, and even influencers, it’s kind of hard not to get the urge to try all of the new products that come out.
My advice is to first try looking through your existing makeup drawer, cabinet, bag, or whatever you store your makeup in and see which brands you often buy over and over. This is a great start in building your makeup collection since you will already be familiar with those brands. Here are a few staples that I have been living by for a few a couple of years now. It’s not a huge list but I do not often experiment with new makeup brands, but that’s just me.
